Hi all -
Could anyone tell me under what circumstances (if any) a bounty was payable to an RN vessel/crew in WWI for sinking or claiming to have sunk a u-boat - and if so how much ? Similarly, were decorations ever awarded to the captain and/or crew for so doing - and if so, what decoration ?
