Ok Thanks to Ray and Wotjek.
Has anyone got a copy which mentions U38s attack in the Med on the troopship SS Mercian on 03/11/1915. My grandad was on board , U38 broke off the engagement ,for no apparent reason ,has Valentiner mentioned this anywhere?
