Hi Guys
On 17 December 1918, the 1,350-ton Norwegian SS EIDSFOS (A/S Manchester, Kristiania) was transporting iron ore and coke from Newcastle to Kristiania when she detonated a mine and sank in the North Sea, 18-miles east, northeast from Tynemouth.
Does anyone know who or what laid the mine, please and was it British or German?
Cheers Ron
