Family name Hashagen

I have noticed elsewhere on this site that Ernst Hashagen is listed as being born on 24.08.1888 and Hinrich Hermann Hashagen as being born on 28.08.1885.
I would like to know what, if any relationship, there was between the two considering such close dates of birth.
