UC2 and24

My GGrandfather served on the british ship Cottingham.And Iam led to believe she was sunk by gunfire from U24 on Dec26 1915.Also she is supposed to be the first Brit ship to sink a Uboat by ramming the UC2 off Yarmouth July2 1915 I cant find any info on this any help greatly appreciated
