Hello Joseph,
both submarines are operating in this area. Harald Bendert write that
UC-25 mining at 29.SEP.1916 the Aland-Isl. and UC-27 lay mines between 07.NOV.1916 and 16.NOV.1916 north of Aland-Isl. and on another operation between 27.NOV.1916 and 02.DEC.1916 near Aland-Isl.
The little swedish steamer FRIGGA 386GRT/1878 is sunk at 23.DEC.1916 “westcoast of Finland†at 61.10N 021.02E. No submarine is given.
At 26.DEC.1916 the russian minesweeper DULO is sunk by a mine laid by UC-27 in the Baltic. (Harald Fock, Flottenchronik) no more details (Position).
Have anyone more informations ?
