60th ANIVERSARY

Today marks the 60th aniversary of the HMAS Sydney/HSK Kormoran battle off
Geralton Western Australia. The sydney went down with all of her crew all 645 of them without a trace except for a carley liferaft found months later. The kormoran lost about 90 men I think but over 300 survived.
I hope one day they will find both ships and put some of the families at ease.
