U 1024 was captured in the Irish Sea 12-4-45 and sunk next day under tow.
KL Hans Gutteck was killed with the boat and is shown as no victories by this boat.

I have read that it sunk two ships (shown as damaged by you) one on the 7-4-45 and another on the 12-4-45 for a total of 14,376 tons.

Can you confirm if they in fact were sunk or they were only damaged!</HTML>
