I post quite frequently on this site and it was good to see a name I havent heard
for quite a long time.I have a few good contacts concerned with the subject of
the German U-Boats of WW2,including veterans and relatives of veterans.I will pass on your request among these people and contact you if anything positive
happens.Anyway, back to the name Hermione.I served on the leander class frigate of that name between 1977 and 1979 under Captain Thomas and later under
Captain Basil Watson.I know this story has nothing to do with your search but I
