Which scored-early on the morning of May 8th 1945, in the Firth of Forth, Scotland, the last World War Two U-Boat kills of the war against allied shipping?.(Canadian owned Avondale Star and Norwegian owned 'Sneland'-both 5,000 ton freighters.
I've looked in the U-Boat commanders personal files and can't see his name listed although I do know that his surrendered U-Boat-2336- was destroyed by Royal Naval gunfire in Scotland post-war.
