<HTML>According to the book "Axis Submarine Successes" (1999):

28 Dec 1942 Sunk 5000 t steam freighter "Name unknown"
not confirmed by allied sources

28 Dec 1942 Sunk steam freighter
confirmed by allied sources as being "Empire Wagtail"

28 Dec 1942 Damaged 4000 t steam freighter "Name unknown"
not confirmed by allied sources

18 Sep 1943 Attacked large steam freighter,possibly damaged.
alied sources report one torpedo hit the torpedo nets of this 7176 t vessel named "William Pepperell"

23 Sep 1943 Sunk destroyer
alied sources report this wasa corvette "Chambly" and that the torpedo missed.



As you can see only one vessel is a confirmed sinking (Empire Wagtail).
