Hi Folks,
it took a while to find Conning Tower. I had several looks at uboat-net, but I didn't notice Conning Tower...
Now I am am here, and it seems to be very funny that I find all those people I got in contact to, since I do my "resaerches" on my Grandfather.
Hello to Roland Berr, Hubertus , Ken Dunn and Ralf Schnitzler...
I am the granddaughter of Walter (called Pepe) Pätzold who wa aboard the U126
during the third and fourth patrol under command of Ernst Bauer.
I found several cardboards whith documents, photos and other useful things, which were left in Leipzig by my Grandmother when she left the city to live with us in western part of Germany after my Grandfather had died.
These cardboards were lying on attic for nearly fourty years.
Roland Berr swapped a copy of U126 KTB for pics of the boat. I got a lot of information from Ken Dunn, but perhaps there is more...
Every mail and help in this case would be appreciated!
Thank you!
Regards
Ariane
