U-Boat Libraries

I know from Buchheim that the U-96 carried a small library of books-- just enough to fill a shelf in the Commander's quarters. He mentions that one was a manual of seamanship. What would the rest have been? Was there a standard collection issued to all boats? Inquiring librarians want to know!
