Yes and no.
Yes: It is a Engelmann vs5 fast speed boat.
No: Engelmann boat WAS NOT a u-boat but a pre-war experimental 265 tonnes high speed boat project, whose spindle-shaped hull laid almost entirely beneath the surface.The boat was controlled from a small hump-shaped superstructure that protruded above the surface.The project was subsequently abandoned at the begining of the war.
