<HTML>Hi Antonio

The boats that met Charlotte Schlieman were:
U-198 Hartman
U-196 Kentrat
U-181 Luth. Second trip to SA waters. Luth complained bitterly about the service and the quality of the food.
U-197 Bartels Lost soon after while attempting to rendezvous with Luth & Kentrat.
The signals transmitted by the boats allowed D/F stations to get a fix. Sunk by RAF Catalina south of Madagascar.
U-178 Dommes
U-177 Gysae His second trip to southern waters

U-180 Musenberg had met a Japanese submarine and delivered a passenger. Had a very eventful trip due to smokey engines of U-180.
U-195 had the same problem and returned early.IXD1's. Both were converted after this to the transport role.

Where did you get the pictures? Please could you e-mail them to me?

Regards</HTML>
