Dear Sirs,
I have a translation of an Italian Oberbefehlshaber Süd report which states inter alia:
2000: 5 He 111 attack on enemy convoy 3657 N. 0403 E. Fired 2 torpedoes at a C.T. No hits
A – II° C.A.T.
0435 – 0740: 6 JU. 88 attack convoy at 3650 N, 0515 E: Hits on vessel of 6000: causing smoke.
The translator could not offer any advice as to what "C.T" or "C.A.T" was an Italian abbreviation for.
Can anyone help please ?
