I know this is a bit off topic as it don't really fit into the U-Boat War. But while deep in thought, I wondered why when England had one of the most powerful navies in the world, and some of the most advanced carriers. Why didn't England assist the U.S. more against Japan with her carriers. Given the fact she also fought Japan because of her colonies, as well as assisting the U.S. who was feeding her war supplies, this just makes sense. At least you don't hear much about this in history of WW2. But there is this great site Uboat.net, it has this outstanding section of Allied navies, if you dig into England's warships and check out the carriers she had, this great site has a wealth of info on this subject on each carriers history and where she fought. Just thought I'd share this cause while you don't hear about this much in history, England's carriers did play an active part in the war against Japan, its just a shame she don't get the credit she should!!! And ooh ya, great job UBoat.Net
Thanx all
