gold shipment to argentina 1945 by uboat

is it true there was a gold shipment in 1945 at the end of the war to finance die Sspinne and it ended in the private vaults of some german companies operating in argentina like mercedes-benz (with the argentine government of juan peron and affiliated services, closing the eyes obviously)?

the uboat in question was scuttled along the coast after transfer of gold, the crew made it to shore and then dispersed.
anybody has any idea on the submarine involved in the operation ?
