Identification.

Hi all. Hope someone here can help. I've been working with a friend who has mentioned to me in the past about a silver? ashtay with a submarine on it that he found on a beach in Devon as a child in the late 70's. He finally bought it for me to see and I suggested that he could have an interesting find here and that maybe some research could help identify the u boat in question which is stamped into it. I had a look at some different designs on your web site but couldn't seem to find an exact match. Is there any way I could post a pic for someone to help us with this? Any help would be great.
