That's my problem ! I've seen it but where ? I'm sorry, I just remember that it was in an english book. In the very good french book "Histoire de la Marine Allemande" write by F.E. Brézet (1999), I don't find this abbreviation.
IMHO, I just think that KMS is the Kriegsmarine abbreviation.
For ex : [www.feldgrau.com]
