who writes the history books?

When my dad and his U-BOAT visited Ireland, which was frequent, he told me he got so drunk with his mates, it was'nt even funny! The Irish fuelled the boat with diesel, provided the crew with perishables, and sent them on their way. The British Intelligence caught on finally, and sent naval ships to that coastal part of Ireland
