Dear sirs
In the swedish Navy one often encounters "GMY" and "MYT" as saluting phrases, attributed to english and german submariners passing each other during WW I, Gott Mit You - Mit You Too.
Now I hear that some maritime historians claim that it should be "GMY" and "MYA" - Mit You Auch, anyone here that has encountered proof of evidence for either phrase?
