I have inherited an origial water colour painting of U 311 running on the surface during heavy seas.
The artist was S.A. Clarke, a crewmember on my father's Royal Canadian Navy minesweeper operating out of Halifax.
The painting is signed and dated 1943.
Is there any person or organisation who might be interested in entering into negotiations for the purchase of this painting.
I would prefer it to go to someone connected to U 311.
Would appreciate any assistance.
