During May 1941, U107, U106, U103, U69 and maybe others, were re-fuelled by the German ship Egerland, Mid Atlantic, according to Wynn, U107 was on the 10th, U103 and U106 on the 17th, with U69 on the 19th. however in the book U-Boats in the Atlantic by Paul Beaver, there is a picture, captioned with U107, U69 and ? U106 approaching them, they are next to to a ship with an American flag on its port side, under which is the name'PRAIRIE - USA'.
Since American ships did not supply U-boats, I assume the ship is the picture is the disguised Egerland?, but on what dates did she supply U-boats during May 1941?. john
