Question about attack 20.02.1944 at 20.11

I have question about attack 20.02.1944 at 20.11. Near all sites write, that it attack was made by "U-256" and write, that was 1 hit only. But in KTB BDU I find radiomessage from "U-764": "Fired T 5s simultaneously from bow and stern tubes at 2 destroyers at 2011 in BE 1843. Explosions after 3 minutes 10 seconds and 2 minutes 02 seconds. Loud sounds of sinking and breaking-up. Then no more hydrophone bearings."
And more: "U-256" was (like write KTB BDU) in planquadrant BE15. Not in BE18. In it day "U-256" not made report about any attack total. Near all write, that "U-256" made attack in BE-1834, but it submarine was in different place.
And more for you site (so in my site not mark it): british ships "Magpie", "Starling", "Wild Goose", "Woodpecker" and "Wren" go from convoy 19 february. And when was attack (20.02) this ships was not convoy esorts. It was anti-submarine group only. And "U-764" not say nothing about attack convoy.

What it was submarine, what made this attack? Need data from u-boats KTB. Write this where was "U-256" and "U-764" in time attack and who made this attack total, please.
