Hi all, this is my first post so please bear with me:
I am looking into the service record of my Granddad who was sunk by U331, I've read about the demise of U331 and the mis-communication regarding surrender signals.Do any fellow UB.net members have any info regarding such 'white-flag' situations, specifically; accounts of U-Boat Commanders abusing certain protocols to gain extra time for crash-diving?
