Final port of call?

The following 6 boats, U385 (St Nazaire), U413 & U247 (Brest), U741 (Le Harve), U736 & U445 (Lorient), left their French bases during August 1944, when the ports now unsafe for U-boats, were being evacuated of as many personell before they became cut off, is the port, if they had not all been lost, that they were due to make for known? john
