The Russians captured Danzig, and the incomplete hulls of several type XXI boats, of which U3535 to U3542 were given new designations after completion, i/e R-1 to R-8, before becoming TS-5 to TS-12. Also taken were the U3543 to U3547, these ended up after completion as TS-13, TS-15, TS-17, TS-18 and TS-19, did they also have a R- designation like the others?. John
