Am researching HMS Hereward sunk during battle of Crete, May 29th 1941. Liked the web page on the ship, and was fascinated to find detail of a Private Albert Burton of the Leics Rgt. My grandfather was Able Seaman Fisk who was lost on the ship. I know the ship was carrying a large number of soldiers at the time, and have been trying to find an account of the sinking from a soldiers perspective.

Some text says of Private Burton, "he was my father". I wonder if that person has any information.
