Uboat Kapitanleutnant , Narvik Shield.?

i have a good archive of original Uboatwaffe photos.However i purchased a photo recently dated 28/11/42, press photo, showing returning boat from ostensibly Operation Drumbeat. The commander is wearing the Narvik Shield on his upper left arm.I have never seen such a photo before, which is strange as i have nearly all Uboat books.Unless i have , but would have remembered? Please could somebody name the officer if possible.
