This boat sailed from Kiel on 18.05.41, was she commencing her first war patrol when attacked and the C/O was lost after 7 days and she returned to Trondheim 3 days later?. Or was she just transferring to a Norwegian port before commencing with her patrol?. Just to clarify should it be recorded as a war patrol that had to be aborted. John
