<HTML>By the way, as we had discussed not getting membership cards for joining the FTU in Altenbruch on this forum before, according to Jak Showell (England--who does the English-speaking version of Das Archiv, and who helps very much with supporting the Archiv in it\'s different functions), cards were discontinued when some members would use them to convince U-boat vets, widows, etc., that they were collecting U-boat militaria for display at the Archiv---when in fact they were tricking these people into donating items that would never be seen again.
Very sad to hear of such charlatans out there....!!......
