Thanks for the reminder - U262 was it.
Quite possible it happened during those winter Murmansk convoys. I know it happened in the winter 41/42 and 44/45 in the Baltic severely hampering training of newly delivered boats. Have a couple pics of boats iced in. Rgds, RB</HTML>
