This tabulator calculates the course angle - incl. lead fwd of target - the torpedo is to assume after it is fired from the tube. Your #3 does the same as above, except it is intended for firing spreads (multiple torps to same target = Faecher 2,3 or 4). Essentially all the units work same way as a slide rule. Air craft time/advance/course/drift calculators work much the same way.
