I have a picture of him taken in Kiel in 1910, on his hat it say\'s Torpedo Division. then what looks like a capitol I. and then a small i.
I know this is a long shot but can anyone help identify that hat?? (the picture is just from the chest up) Does anyone know where I can obtain information about the German navy before WW1. How long were enlistments etc.
