I was wondering if anybody can give me a career info on this man Helmut Von Tippelskirch? I read that he believed he could save his boat and closed the hatch and the boat went below the waves. I heard that a trawler hit, which they believed to be a u-boat submerged in the same area as Tippelskichs boat is this true? Any info will be very appreciated.
