I am involved in a computer project surrounding WWII German U-Boats, and am trying to find out where the sound heads were located on the type II, VII, IX, and XXI. I have done a pretty extensive search, yet am coming up dry. I know they had em! Reason is I am trying to disprove a notion that they could hear contacts while on the surface. This is pretty inportant to the realism of the project. Thanks for all your help.
