Hi Tom
The term being \"bloody minded\" usually means that the person is being stubborn. ie not doing what the other person wants them to do. Not always a bad thing, depending on your point of view!
Hope this helps!!
Cheers,
Fiona

To my British friends on this forum,
I\\\'ve begun re-reading \\\"The U-Boat Peril\\\" by Reginald Whinney, and he uses the term \\\"bloody minded\\\" as a negative reference to certain British Naval officers he encountered. I thought it meant crazy or insane, but I\\\'m not sure. Could anyone give me an idea of what that term means?
Many thanks,
