That is certainly not correct,! John Griffiths has shown on may occasions to be a very broad and fair minded articulate thinker.
From an Australian point of view, a bloody minded person is one who is very focussed on getting the job at hand done, mabe to the point of being obsessive, but very determined. Depending on the task it can be a very good character trait, as these type of people are not usually swayed by negative influences, and have a true belief in their abilities and ideas as to what has to be done.
