<HTML>Mr. Bruns,
I do not understand why you take such a condescending tone with many who are on this forum. Now, granted if they openly disrespect you, then I don\'t expect you to take it quietly. But often times you \"hammer\" someone and it is unwarranted.
Examples:
Yuri, who frequents this page, asked a question a few months ago. Now, Yuri is from Moscow and his English is a bit rough, but he asked a legitimate question. Your first response was \"either you learn how to speak english or I\'ll have to start drinking vodka while reading your posts\"
A few months ago I posted a response to another member\'s question, to which you responsed, \"Jeff, I can\'t believe the ignorance in your answer was intentional.\"
Why must you be so heavy-handed in your responses? If that is not the tone you mean to take you need to say so, otherwise you sound arrongant and a know it all.
Perhaps a :-) after your harsh sounding comments might help.
And lastly, why must you constantly rush to the aide of Captain Duffy and pick fights with other members when it doesn\'t concern you? Example: At the very beginning of this thread, how do you know that Mr. Duffy felt disrespected by Chad? Did Mr. Duffy tell you that? Did he then ask you to defend him in his absence? If Mr. Duffy is 80 years old, then he is more than adult enough to speak himself. If he is the great war veteran that he and others proclaim him to be (and I am not disputing that he either is or isn\'t) then he should be man enough to defend himself.
I few postings ago, I asked why we needed to post Birthday announcements here and you chimed in that I should be understanding to the member who made the B-day posting. Well, now I ask the same of you. Practice what you preach.
In fairness, you have often answered several of my questions here with straightforwardness and a genteel attitude and that is greatly appreciated. So why then must you \"go off\" on others for often no good reason??
