Hi Steve,
I would appreciate seeing the pics you have of Malta. Try and scan the pics then copy and paste onto here. Hopefully it will work. I know others have sent pics before and I have pasted text ok.
I can say with almost certainty that what people have seen is the mock up of a U-boat used in the film U 571. The Maltese might do something with it. After all Popeye's village is a tourist attraction.
I'm a bit envious of you as I have family friends living in Qawra and I love the place. The people, cheap booze, food (rabbit, horse, calamari etc. - but Not the snails euck)
