I don't know if this is of any use to you but in 'Wales at War' the author relates how a post-war German visitor to (I think) a cathedral told someone he landed from a U boat during the war for supplies. I'm sorry I can't check the information as it was a library book and I took it back ages ago. I was looking for other information.
