According to the index pages of Georg Högel's book "Embleme Wappen Malings deutscher U-boote 1939-1945", 4th German edition, a moose's head was used as an emblem of U 397, U 428,U 2516 and U 2529. However in the book there is not drawn a moose's head at the paragraph describing U 2929, just a devil's head. Also in the paragraph describing U 1064 there is a drawing of both a moose's head and a devil's head (not the same as U 2929). This moose's head is not mentioned in the index.
