U 38 is credited with sinking this ship on 24.05.41, she is noted as being dispersed from convoy OB.318, however, in the re-print of 'The Secret Capture', which covers mainly the U 110 attack on OB.318, this ship is not listed in the sailing order, she is however mentioned in 'British & Commomwealth merchant ship losses' as being sunk by U 38, but as sailing with convoy OG.59. did she swap convoy en-route? john
