slightly smaller coastal boat with Walter Turbine and small diesel/electric propulsion. Was replaced by slightly larger type XXIII electroboat. 2 Ttubes fwd, 1 Ttube aft. No reloads. Displ: 155/200tonnes, 89\'x9.75\' (Keel to twr top 22.75\'); submerged abt 4.5 hrs @ 20kn with Walter drive; otherwise abt 240 hrs @ 6.5kn D/E surfaced and abt 9 hrs @ 4.5kn submerged E-drive only.
