What was the range of a boat of this type? What was her endurance ?
Hypothetical situation needing a hypothetical answer! Would she have been able to make a trip say Wilhelmshaven to off Liverpool, stay on patrol for a (unspecified ) period and then sail back?
I\'m writing a story using this type - too complicated to say too much now about it - but it is fiction. If she wouldn\'t make it, I\'ll devise another method!
