Italian prisoners on the "Empress of Canada"

Does anybody know precisely how many Italian POWs were on board the RMS "Empress of Canada" sunk by the "Leonardo da Vinci" on 13.3.1943 (I have always found contradicting figures), and how many of them were killed in the sinking (I have never found the number of POWs lost, only the overall number of 392)?
