Hello,

i search for more details from the japanese frighter "Shonan Maru".
Ship is sunk at 13.may.1942 from "USS DRUM" at 34.00N 139.00E.
The gross tons are given with 5356 or 5264 or 5266.
Any source says, the building year is 1918 ???
At the time of loss, the ship is used as troop transport.
have anyone more about the ship? (Builder, earlier names, corr.GRT)
