Hi Herb, many thanks for the excellent info, where could I obtain others for the other type IXB boats? Just one question regarding Josef Hoenikes, he is not listed with Historishe U123 crew members, was he just a Watch Officer as to a IWO or IIWO? And presumably he sailed on her 9th to 12th patrols?
