U 300 - 3rd attack;
04.08.44 AE 8824 (http://grid.nylle.de/find) 2130 hours
Periscope depth - Aircraft bomb detonation close to the boat.
Failures: Both hydroplanes engines. Both periscopes. All forward tubes flooded through torpedo doors. Battery 2 leaking. Much glass damage.
